The'Special'of this issue,Constructing Harmonious Human Settlement Should Place Importance on Cultural Inheritance written by Zhang Yuanduan who is the vice- president of China Real Estate and Housing Research Association,has pointed out that the harmonious human settlement should be constructed in the great cause of building the harmonious society.It includes four main aspects as follows:Promote the harmoniousness between people and people,human and nature,spiritual civilization and material civilization,residence community and city.The flat-type should satisfy the needs of two or more generations living together and separately,in the meanwhile we should persist in environment-friendly and resources-economical, emphasize economy and utility principle,and place importance on the cultural inheritance.
