摘要
对世界近现代图书馆史作了概述,将其起点、时限和历史阶段划分为:近代由1850年至1945年,现代由二战结束至今。
This paper gives a brief outline, of modem libraries history in the world and divides the starting point, time limit and historical stages into two periods, that is modem times （from 1850 to 1945） and present times （ World War Ⅱ to- ）.
