The present paper analyzes the problem existing in the .traditional oxygen analysis instrument which needs to take and pre-treat samples, introduces the system structure, workng principle and characteristics of the on-line laser analysis instrument of oxygen content in the coal gas and describes the accuracy and reliability of this technology in the measurement of the oxygen content in the coal gas as well as its broad prospect of application in the coking sector in combination with actual application of the on-line laser analysis instrument in the measurement of the oxygen content in the coal gas.
