南岳衡山是中国重要的旅游基地,旅游事业的蓬勃发展,迫切需要为景点宣传、游客服务和景区管理提供信息化的应用服务手段。探讨基于SO(SuperObjects)的衡山旅游管理信息系统的设计与开发,对系统的软硬件平台、总体设计、系统功能和技术特点等进行详细说明,利用VB、SO、R2V和Access等技术,实现了衡山旅游信息的可视化查询、三维浏览和空间分析,利用Flash制作和MP3真人录音实现了衡山旅游信息的音频、视频等多媒体信息播放,为游客提供方便快捷的信息查询和切合自身的旅游设计方案,为衡山管理部门提供良好的信息管理模式和对外宣传方式。

Hengshan Mountain is an important tour tourism, it＇s urgent for us to supply service such as sight base in the south of China. With the flourishing development of propagandism, tourist service and scene and administration. The purpose of the studies was to design and develop tourism management information system which is based on SO in Mount Heng, elaborate the hardware and software platform, total design, the function of system and technical features, used VB, SO, R2V and Access to come to the fruition like vision inquiry,3D browse and spatial analyses. The Authors also utilized some flash and MP3 records to show the multimedia of Hengshan, so that the tourist can check the information and design self-project, the administration department can also use it to manage and show Hengshan Mountain.
