There is close historical and theoretical connection between Lenin＇ s theory of the transition period, the theory of new democratic society and the general line for the transition period and the relationship among them has been a hot and difficult point in the theory and practice study of our party in the transition period. A widespread discussion has been held in the academic field and rich points of view have been advanced for the past twenty years.
