黄连解毒汤治疗老年性痴呆(心肝火旺型)临床研究

The Clinical Study on Huanglianjiedu Decoction on for patients with Senile Dementia,the Type of Hyperactivity of Heart-Fire and Liver Fire in TCM

目的探讨黄连解毒汤对老年性痴呆(心肝火旺型)患者智力和生活能力的影响。方法选用简易智力状态检查表(MMSE)、日本长谷川智能检查(HDSJ)及日常生活能力量表(ADL Barthel Index)测定口服黄连解毒汤3个月后的老年性痴呆(心肝火旺型)患者的智力和生活能力,并测定红细胞超氧化物歧化酶(SOD)活性和血浆脂质过氧化物(LPO)的含量。结果MMSE、HDS、ADL Barthel Index治疗前后差异有显著性;红细胞SOD活性及血浆LPO含量治疗前后差异亦有显著性。结论黄连解毒汤可改善老年性痴呆(心肝火旺型)患者智力和生活能力,其作用机制可能与抗自由基有关。

Objective： To obsrve the effect of Huanglianjiedu Decoction （HD,黄连解毒汤） ） on intelligence and capacity for daily activities of patients with senile dementia, the Type of Hyperactivity of Heart - Fire and Liver Fire in TCM. Methods：Patients taking HD for 3 months＇ later, the MMSE, HDS and activities of daily living（ADL）were selected to access the intelligence and capacity for daily activities. Furthermore, levels of superoxidase（SOD） and lactoperoxidase （LPO） were tested. Results： Scores of MMSE, HDS and ADL were significant different before and after the treatment, and the levels of SOD and LPO were also. Conclusion： HD could improve intelligence and capacity for daily activities of the patients. The mechanism was possible related to antioxidation.
