Technological Characteristics of Unitsky String Transport(UST)

U弦轨运输系统是俄罗斯新近推出的一种高效率、环保性能好的新一代高速轨道运输系统。其主要技术特色:具有弦骨轨道的特殊结构;每根轨道有一个外壳,壳内是由高强度钢丝组成的弦(钢缆),由于弦预加了很大的拉力,弦轨将具有很高的平整度;合理的线路结构使得受力更加合理;独特的车轮结构,使得弦轨的适应性更强,不仅可以在城市,而且还可以在具有复杂地形的地区架设;科学和灵活的弦轨车辆设计,使得运行速度更快,使用更加灵活,用途更加广泛。

Recently Russia has developed a high-speed track transport system called Unitsky String Transport（UST） or String Transport System（STS）. It is of high performance and adaptable for environmental protection. This paper introduces some of its primary technological characteristics, such as the structures of the strings, track, wheels of module and vehicles.
