Characteristics of executing valuation method of bill of quantities in China were discussed. On this basis, the differentiation between bill of quantities costing mode and traditional quota costing mode were analyzed. BOQ costing mode is a brand new marketpricing mode, it requires construction enter- prises to quote, the price of construction product will be governed by the transaction,which can adapt to the request of marketing economy. This article also discuss about the existing problem of BOQ. It advises project consultancy corporation to imply costing method of BOQ, advize to impose costing mode of BOQ. And verification about the implementation of costing method of BOQ will be favorable to increasing efficiency of project investment.
