从文化人类学视角审视新闻传播学和民俗学,两者具有高度的一致性,在本质特征上都是关于"大众"的学问;民俗新闻传播学是从民俗学视野研究新闻本质和传播规律的科学;构建民俗新闻传播学有助于对"大众"和"大众文化"的科学把握,有利于建立科学的"受众观",有利于还新闻传统形态上的"官学"为"民学"——建立真正意义上的"大众传播学",有利于有效规范纠正新闻娱乐化倾向,有利于反对"文化帝国主义",构建国际新闻新秩序。
