Contradiction and Harmony: a Probe into the Theory of Building a Harmonious Society

构建社会主义和谐社会是一个不断化解社会矛盾的持续过程。随着由社会主义经济建设、政治建设、文化建设三位一体,发展为社会主义经济建设、政治建设、文化建设、社会建设的四位一体,社会转型带来了新时期人民内部矛盾的多样化。遵循矛盾思维的规则,正视社会矛盾、深入分析社会矛盾,才能妥善化解社会矛盾,实现平等、平和、有序、融洽相处的局面。鉴于此,构建和谐社会,必须加强党的领导和党的自身建设,以党的先进性统领社会和谐。在此前提下,发展社会事业,以科学发展实现社会和谐;创新社会管理体制,协调社会运行机制;创新社会制度,保障社会公平正义;建设社会主义核心价值体系,以先进文化促进社会和谐。

Building a harmonious socialist society remains a continuous process of solving social contradictions. Contradictions among people is showing its development in many levels, due to the expansion of building socialism from economic, political and cultural fields to another dimension social comprehensive level. Fol- lowing a contradiction thinking, we should take a serious attitude towards the contradiction and analyze it deeply to find a solution and realize a faire, peaceful, ordered and harmonious situation. So Party＇s leadership ought to be strengthened, as well as her building and advancement. And it will acquire the ability to lead the direction of building the harmonious society and realize the harmony in a scientific development. In addition, social management system should innovate to assort with social operational mechanism; social system innovate to guarantee social equity and fairness; and we should form a socialist core value system to harmonize the society in advanced culture.
