Street Planning Tactics for Urban Public Space

从步行化空间的历史演化出发,探讨城市街道空间的社会交往和公共生活品质,分析城市街坊结构、形态、尺度及其变迁特征,论述国内外步行化景观街道设计的成功经验,认为这种景观街道在复兴历史中心区和改造现有衰退区中起着重要作用,它可以改善居民生活条件、振兴商业文化功能、形成独特的传统风貌。提出作为城市公共空间的城市街道空间规划策略。

In view of historic evolution of pedestrian space, this paper explores the quality of social association and public life on street, makes analysis of the characteristics of the urban block neighborhoods on structure, form, scale and change. It expatiates successful experience of pedestrian landscape street design at home and abroad, and points out that playing an important role in recovery of historic civic center and remodeling of existing declined district, landscape street can better circumstances for inhabitants＇ life, can promote commercial culture function, and form unique traditional flavorful appearance. This paper also proposes tactics for planning of urban street space.
