山东东阿县邓庙汉画像石墓

A Pictorial-stone Tomb of the Han Period at Dengmiao in Dong' e County,Shandong

1998年,在山东省东阿县邓庙村发现一座画像石墓。该墓由两组形制相同且对称的"中"字形墓室组成,各有独立墓道,包括墓门、前室、中室、左右耳室和后室等部分。墓中发现大量石刻画像,内容主要有祥瑞辟邪题材、车骑出行及生活场景、装饰图案等。根据墓葬形制、画像风格、雕刻技法等判断,墓葬年代为东汉晚期。

In the autumn of 1998, a stone pictorial tomb was discovered at Dengmiao Village of Jianglou Township in Dong＇e County, Shandong Province. It faces to the south, and consists of two ＂qb＂ -shaped chambers, which are identical in form and are symmetrically arranged in a west to east row. In front of each chamber is a tomb-passage and then, from south to north, a tomb-gate, an anterior room, a middle one, two side ones and a rare one, and the chambers lead to each other by the adjacent side rooms. The tomb-gate and the elevations of the＂ tie beams, lintels, stone columns, ceilings, walls and ground beams of the rooms are carved with numerous pictures and designs, totaling 53 items and covering an area of 43.55 sq m in total. They depict auspicious and evil-spirits-exorcising subjects, human, carriage and horse processions, and decorative motifs. Judged by its form, artistic style and carving techniques, the tomb can be dated to the late Eastern Han period.
