摘要
作为特大型城市，上海近年来承办的大型活动越来越多，如APEC国际会议、上海国际组织峰会等，在成功承办这些活动的基础上，上海市政府一直在积极探索如何应用新技术提升办会能力、更好地展示上海城市形象。2007年“世界夏季特殊奥林匹克运动会”（简称“特奥会”）将在上海举行。这次上海特奥会共有25个比赛项目；运动员超过7000名，来自于170多个国家和地区；有3万多位家长、专家学者和嘉宾；4万多名志愿者；32个场馆，8个学校宿舍；将影响中国约1300万名智障残疾人及其家庭社区和相关大众。
2007 Special Olympics will be held in Shanghai, the organizing committee hopes to draw support from informational technology and to improve management of players and participants in order to realize humanity care and personal service. Therefore, the organizing committee decides to implement RFID in this Olympics and offers Shanghai KTI CO.LTD to fulfill this RFID project in this Olympics. The article introduces Olympics' formula of RFID's framework through on-the-spot displays of RFID and lets readers feel RFID's significant function.
