Correspondences of Lin Zexu to Sun Yugui

林则徐是中国近代史上的著名人物。他主张改革,坚持严禁鸦片。他反抗外国侵略的言论和实践,具有为同时代历史人物少有或没有的特点,对近代中国有深远的影响。

Lin Zexu is very famous for issuing ban on opium-smoking and the opium trade. There are already some articles on his life, his political thought, and his correspondences. This paper introduces five personal correspondences of Lin Zexu to Sun Yugui, which provide first-hand historical materials for the study of Lin Zexu.
