Embody Cultural Context of Idiom in College English Class

对习语理解的困难是翻译学习中最大的障碍,而习语中的文化因素往往是翻译学习中的难点。笔者认为应把习语的文化语境寓于大学英语教学之中,学生才能较好地在翻译实践中既忠实于原文又符合译语的表达习惯。

Idiom is the biggest barrier of English translation,hower cultural factor is the difficulty of translation learning. This article makes a prelimanary study to search the teaching method of idiom translation, that is to embody cultural context of idiom in college English class, expect translation to be faithful and idiomatic.
