摘要
大学英语教学正不断改进教学手段,优化教学内容,提高课堂效率。论文基于学习动机理论和建构主义对教学的指导作用,分析了英文影视在大学英语教学中的优势与功能,即激发学生的学习兴趣,提高学习效率;为学生提供真实的语言环境,有助于语言的掌握;提高学生的听说技能;增强学生对文化背景的掌握,提高学生的人文素养;增多课堂互动环节,培养自主学习能力。英文影视作为一种现代教学手段,应该被积极地引入到大学英语课堂之中。
The teaching of college English has been reformed in teaching methods to optimize the course and improve its efficiency. Based on the instructive effects of the Theory of Study Motivation and the Constructivism, the advantages and functions of English movies are analyzed, such as stimulating students＇ interests to enhance learning efficiency, offering the real language environment to help students acquire the language, advancing their listening and speaking abilities, building up their cultural knowledge and training their independent learning abilities. As a modem means of teaching, English movies should be applied to class.
