The article gives a brief account of the significance of soft science and the current situation of Zhoushan＇s soft science development, and offers some suggestion of how to improve the development of Zhoushan＇s soft science to meet the economic development after Zhou Shan becomes a peninsula upon the completion of the bridges connecting Zhoushan islands with the mainland.
