上海南京东路世纪广场设计项目旨在营建具有吸引力和生机的城市市民文化空间,为市民及游客提供高品质的具有亲和力的城市公共活动空间,为市民的文化娱乐生活提供富有活力的场所。通过对该建成项目的设计理念、设计手法以及特色塑造等创新点的回顾,对城市公共空间市民性作一次思考与探讨。

The aim of the project design is to construct an attractive and approachable civic cultural place for everyone and make the Century Plaza become a high-quality site which holding vigorous civic public cultural activities. As the consideration and discussion about the civic essence of urban public place, the author introduces the concepts, techniques and characteristics of the project design.
