国人配戴冰晶石玻璃义眼的临床观察

Clinical observation of the effects of wearing cryolite glass prothesis by Chinese

目的探讨国人配戴德国的冰晶石玻璃义眼的临床效果。方法对24例眼球摘除、义眼台置入、眼球萎缩的患者进行冰晶石玻璃义眼个性化配制,并随访其中的18例患者1年,主要了解义眼的活动度、有无刺激症状、取戴是否方便以及双眼的对称性等配戴后情况。结果24例患者中,除2例患者因眶脂肪严重萎缩配戴后眶部凹陷未完全矫正外,余者对配戴后即刻的患眼外观及双眼的对称性均感满意;随访的18例患者对义眼的感觉舒适,且未出现刺激、结膜充血、水肿等症状,取戴方便,活动度良好,外观明显改善,双眼对称性良好;其中有6例患者对在萎缩的眼球上直接配戴的义眼感觉良好。结论冰晶石玻璃的化学性质稳定,是制作义眼良好的天然材料;冰晶石玻璃义眼适合国人配戴,尤其适合于眼球萎缩的患者,可直接配戴,无须行眼球摘除或结膜遮盖术,值得在临床上推广应用。

Objective To observe the effects of the wearing German cryolite glass eye prothesis （Na6A12F12 - additive） by Chinese. Methods Cryolite glass eye prothesis were prepared for 24 patients whose eyes were enucleated, or had translanted implanted ocular implants, or had atrophy. Eighteen of 24 patients were followed for one year and the moveability of the prothesis, presence or absence of irritation, convenience of insertion and removal, and bilateral ocular symmetry were recorded. Results All patients were satisfied with their glass eye prothesis and improved contour, except two with incomplete contour correction due to significant orbital fat atrophy. The 18 patients who were followed clinicaRy felt comfortable with their prothesis. There was no eye irritation, no conjunctival injection and no edema. Protheses were easy to put in and take out. The movement of prothesis was good. Among this group of patients, 6 of 18 who worn glass eye prothesis directly on the donor eye felt very comfortable. Conclusion Cryolite glass has stable chemical properties and therefore is a good natural material for use in eye prothesis. There were no side - effects from wearing cryolite glass prothese by Chinese. Cryolite glass prothesis have a unique advantage, especially in cases of shrunken eyes in that they can be directly worn on the eye without eye enucleation. These prostheses provides more choice for patients and it is worthwhile expanding their use in China.
