This paper analyzes some prepositions to study the polysemy motivated by the cognitive mechanism, image schema. It also studies the influence of the central schema and schema variants on the polysemy of the dimensional domain, and the influence of the metaphorical extension of the image schema on the polysemy of the abstract domain.
