On the restrictions and countermeasures and its enlightenment in the Japan's software industry

从广义技术创新的视角分析日本软件产业发展遇到的四大制约因素:技术制约、政府产业政策制约、企业文化制约和日本语制约。探究日本企业为应对软件产业的挑战采用的三种创新战略:组建软件工厂,“拿来主义”和在嵌入式软件开发和机器翻译领域的不懈努力。

There are four restrictions on the development of software industry in Japan： technology, government＇ s industry policies, business culture, and Japanese language. With this situation, another fact is： the revenue of Japan＇ s software industry got the second place in the world in 2000, and of the ten biggest software businesses in the world, there are three companies being Japan＇ s. To meeting with the challenges of software industry, Japan＇ s enterprises take three kinds of innovation strategies： setting up software factories, using ＂the doctrine of taking it here＂, and continually working hard on the areas of developing embedded software and machine translation. This paper discusses these issues above based on broad innovation perspective, namely, technology, market, management and organizational structure.
