屯田是由国家政府颁布的集政治、经济、军事于一体的特殊政策。从炎汉到盛唐,乃至明清,历代封建政权几乎都推行了屯田政策。在历代政府的统治过程中,屯田在实边、拓土、定国、治国等方面都发挥着积极的作用。研究屯田,我们首先应该了解我国古代的屯田头起于何时以及是怎样兴起的,这将有利于人们对屯田的准确认识,更好地把握屯田的本质特征并能进一步深入研究。

Statiruing troops and opening up land is a special policy by which the government wish to put politics, economy and military affairs together, ln history,feudal political powers fron Yanhan to prosperous Tang,even Ming and Qing Dynasties almost all implemented the policy. Stationing troops and reclaiming land played an active role in stnengtherting the frontier, expanding land, fixing the state and governing the country. Dealing with the problem, we must make sure when and how this movement came into being in ancient China. This is useful for the public to have an exact understanding, grasp the essence and make further research to the poplicy.
