摘要
本文研究了乙醇对苯乙烯辐射聚合的影响,发现乙醇对苯乙烯的辐射聚合有敏化作用,经WAS方程计算,求得在γ射线照射下,苯乙烯的G_(ri)=0.1,G_(gi)=4.0;讨论了敏化机理,认为是质子转移过程, St^+·+C_2H_5OH→St·+C_2H_5OH_2^+产生了苯乙烯自由基,敏化了苯乙烯的聚合。
The γ radiation induced polymerization of styrene in the presence ofethanol was studied at dose rate of 5×10^(17) eV/ml min. The result showed that theradiation induced polymerization of styrene was sensitized by ethanol. The experimentalresults were in agreement with the theoretical calculation of WAS equationG=G_(fi)+G_(gi)(αs)^(1/2)/(1+(αs)^(1/2))gotten G_(fi)=0. 1, G_(gi)=4.0, α=0. 18The mechanism of sensitization is proposed as proton transfer reaction:St^+·+CH_3CH_2OH→St·+CH_3CH_2OH_3^+St· is the initial center for radical polymerization of styrene.
