In his Huang ji jing shi, SHAO Yong weaved a huge historical chronological table, which is closely related to the rotation of the Prenatal 64 Hexagrams Round Diagram. This paper analyzes the correspondence between the time and the line position of a hexagram, pointing out that different line positions symbolize differ- ent time and space. These different temporal and spatial circumstances are prehended by different hexagrams transformed by a line changing into its opposition. In addition, the paper points out that this kind of prehension conceives profound philosophical connotations .
