20世纪90年代人文精神讨论的发生有其特定的历史背景与文化语境。市场经济体制下“人文精神”的提出具有鲜明的当下性和现实意义,但从深层来看,它是自近代以来中国知识分子直面文化危机、寻找文化拯救之路的继续。

It was under its specific background and cultural context in 1990s humanism fell down into a hot controversy. Reiterating it in the market economy system was cloaked in its temporal and realistic significance. However, the creed probed into the cultural crisis, which China had been frustrated throughout the last century, and then implored a way out which will also be covered in this thesis.
