警民关系是构建和谐社会的重要组成部分,培育和谐的警民关系是新时期公安工作的必然要求。公安机关必须正视当前影响警民关系的各种不和谐因素,转变执法观念,逐步推行“法治执法”;搞好警务公开接受人民群众的监督;加强队伍建设,推进警务改革在群防群治中实现警民互动,积极营造和谐的警民关系。

The relationship between police and people is an important part in constructing harmonious society. Therefore building up a harmonious relationship is a necessary requirement in the new time. They must face the unharmonious factors, change executive concept, deal with the affairs in public, strengthen troop construction, push the reform, and build harmonious relationship actively.
