摘要 论文对现有电涡流缓速器的控制系统进行了探讨,并且设计制作了一种新型的电涡流缓速器。对其控制器硬件软件设计和制动效果进行了比较全面系统的研究探讨。该新型电涡流缓速器运用PWM(脉宽调制)控制方法,实现了结合车速和制动量判断的制动力矩的无极调节、温度电子控制、电压和过载保护等全控制功能。同时采用制动量位置传感器代替传统的压力传感器,使缓速器的特性能独立于主制动系统,不受主制动系统的制约。通过试验台和整车实地试验可以得到本缓速器的最大制动力矩达2500Nm。同时单独作用时的制动减速度可达0.77m/s^2。 this paper delves into the control system of the present eddy-current retarder controller, and designing and manufacturing of a new type retarder. It also delves into the designing of the controller hardware and software, makes comparison on the braking effects in a comprehensive way. Pulse width modulation (PWM) is used by the retarder to achieve such functions as electronic temperature control, voltage and overloading protection, and stepless regulation for braking torque. A braking position sensor is employed to replace the conventional pressure sensor and keep the retarder functioning without being restricted by the main braking system. The retarder can obtain a maximum braking torque of 2500Nm obtained from bench test and on-the-spot vehicle test, and a braking deceleration of 0.77m/s^2 when it functions indeoendently.
