On the Vocationalization of Chinese Social Work

职业化问题是目前中国社会工作发展过程中遇到的“瓶颈”,中国社会工作职业化的发展历程,职业化的认证标准、制度保障及政府作用等问题的现状,表明中国的社会工作是在没有职业实践的情况下办起了专业教育,然后专业教育又无法直接促进职业实践,因此,社会工作专业在中国的发展长期处于“无根生长”状态,现在到了需要通过职业化发展来进一步完善社会工作的时候了。

Vocationalization is a bottle neck of social work in China currently. The developmental course of Chinese social work＇s vocationalization and its licence standard sysytem guarantee and the government＇s role show that Chinese social work is built up without vocational practice and the late professional education can not directly promote the practice. So social work in China has been in a rootless state for a long time and needs perfecting.
