社会工作专业化及职业化这两大难以逾越的瓶颈一直阻碍着社会工作的阔步前行。构建和谐社会的概念的提出在彰显政府对当前社会发展现状改善的愿望的同时,也给社会工作的专业化及职业化道路提供了契机:和谐社会的内涵不仅与社会工作的基本价值理念相契合,其具体的实践过程也需要社会工作的全面参与。接受政府的资金与政策支持,与政府的通力合作则成为当前社会工作迅速发展的必然路径。

The problems of professionalization and vocationalization of social work are the unsurpassable botttle-neck which continually prevents social work from progressing. The concept of building a harmonious society reveals the government＇s intention in improving the present social development, meanwhile, it provides the chance for the professionalization and vocationalization of social work. The content of harmonious society not only meets the basic value of social work, but it needs the participation of social workers in its practice . Accepting finacial and policy support of the government and cooperating with the government are the necessary ways in social work＇s rapid progress.
