On Xu zhimo's Political Thoughts

徐志摩不仅是一个著名的诗人,还终生保持着对政治的关注和热情。徐志摩对政治产生兴趣,是在少年时期打下的基础;而徐志摩政治倾向的真正形成,则是在他留学期间打下的基础。徐志摩的政治活动主要表现在主编《晨报副刊》,声援现代评论派,参与创办新月社和平社等。由于其政治主张不能适应当时中国的社会现实,徐志摩的政治理想最终未能实现。

Xu zhimo renowned as a poet is also interested in politics. His interest in politics arises during his juvenile period and matures during his study abroad. His political activities includes： first, acting as chief editor of the Morning Supplement; second, expressing support to the Group of Modern Critique; third, participating in the foundation of the Organization of New Moon and the Organization of Equality. But he didn＇t realize his political opinions for these thoughts couldn＇t fit into social reality.
