The Research on Multimedia Teaching Live and Demand Broadcast System

随着计算机网络技术的发展,继计算机网络视频点播技术后,利用互联网对外作多媒体教学的实时直播技术成了现代远程教育技术的关注焦点之一。基于计算机网络的多媒体教学直播点播系统(以下简称直播点播系统)的应用是解决学校课程师资紧缺、充分利用教学资源、提高教学效率的重要手段。本文着重介绍广东电大建立的直播点播系统的系统结构及其应用的相关技术。

With the development of computer network technology, following the technology of video-on-demand based on computer network, external use of the Intemet for real-time multimedia teaching broadcast technology becames the focus of modern distance education technology. The application of multimedia teaching live and demand broadcast system based on computer network（hereinafter referred to ＂live and demand broadcast system＂） is an important means to solve the lack of course teacher resources in school,to make full use of teaching resources,to improve teaching efficiency. This paper introduces the system architecture and application of relevant technology which the live and demand broadcast system builded by GDRTVU.
