The muhi- party cooperation and political consultation system under the leadership of the Communist Party of China is the socialist political party system with Chinese characteristics and potentiality, conforming to the national conditions of China. However, its advantages are not fully exerted in the political life of our country, which can be ascribed to a vital cause - the lagging of its theoretical construction. Therefore, it is essential to enhance the theoretical construction of the multi - party cooperation system. The paper attempts to explore the significance, the contents, the research methods ,the education and the dissemination.
