一种改进的编码方法

A Kind of Improvement Encoding Method

在简单比较LDPC(low density parity check,低密度奇偶校验码)和Turbo码各自性能特点的基础上,对二者进行优化组合,使其达到更为满意的效果。在高信噪比SNR(signal to noise ratio)下LDPC码有着良好的性能,而turbo码在低信噪比下的性能表现又远比LDPC码要优异,所以,将LDPC码和Tur-bo码级联在一起,那么该种编码在高信噪比和低信噪比下都会有良好的性能表现。

On the basic of simple comparing the capability of LDPC and Turbo code, concatenate the LDPC and Turbo code to make them have better performance. LDPC code shows good performance at high SNR but turbo code shows better perfoemance than LDPC code at low SNR. so serially concatenated LDPC and Turbo code can be a good choice to get good performance at low and high SNR region.
