摘要
用X射线光电子能谱(XPS)分析研究了八氧化三铀(U3O8)的表面结构以及一氧化碳对U3O8表面结构的影响。U3O8为混合价化合物,XPS分析表明它符合U2ⅥUn-2ⅣO2n+2模式。在7.2×106LCO气氛中,U3O8中氧含量减少,O/U比值下降了8.0%。同时UO3的量减少了16.6%。研究结果表明一氧化碳气氛对U3O8的表面有一定的还原作用。
The surface structure of triuranium octaoxide(U 3O 8) and the influence of carbon monoxide on the surface layer of U 3O 8 have been studied by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS). As a mixed-valence compound, U 3O 8 was found to have a surface structure compatible with the general formula U 2 Ⅵ U n-2 Ⅳ O 2n+2 . After exposure of U 3O 8 to 7.2×10 6 L CO,the content of oxygen in the oxide decreased and O/U ratio decreased by 8.0%, and amount of uranium trioxide in U 3O 8 was decreased by 16.6%. The investigation indicated that the surface of triuranium octaoxide was reduced to some extent in the atmosphere of carbon monoxide.
