The paper analyzes the problems existed in the design and during operation of the cage crusher, finds out the reason and gives the improving measures through observation and calculation. Based on the requirement of production expansion, the author analyses the structure and technical indexes of the crusher and redesigned the crusher, points out the main reason affecting the crusher＇s capacity and summarizes a formula to evaluate the capacity of the cage crusher.
