City＇s livability is the suitability and satisfaction of people with a city, and it is closely related to the city＇s characteristic. Since involving multi-benefit, building livable city should take multi-value coordination into consideration. Private benefit shall be respected and public benefit highlighted. Planning oriented public intervention shall be introduced; individual action shall be restricted and guided through moderate centralization of power; Effort shall be made not only to restore the historical features but also to build vemacular culture that inspires collective honor and common aesthetic appreciation.
