This paper describes how plan and establish a network system of engineering design application for a design department,and solves mainly how select and integrate various kinds of the software and hardware products used in th network for consumers and how select the operation system of network and the transmission medium and how plan the network structure and its layout etc., and also introduces how realize the network sharing of software and hardware and the precautions of safe and secret.
