东沙湖将被发展成为一个可供公众自由进入，家庭休闲娱乐的自然公园。公园将提供广范的以静态娱乐活动为主，配合儿童游戏场、野餐区和自然路径的设施和空间。目的是创造一种可以使使用者与环境融为一体的放松和娱乐的气氛。景观设计使井然有序的人造因素与不可预测的自然特征得到了平衡。
Dongsha lake will be developed as a natural parkland for public access family recreation and entertainment .The park will provide a wide range of mainly passive recreation opportunities with the interaction of children s play areas ,picnic sites and nature trails. The aim is to create an atmosphere in which the users can relax and recreate in tota harmony with the environment. The landscape design balances ordered man-made elements with unpredictable natural features .
