Interview with Mr.Hua Jueming

华觉明先生从50年代中期到70年代中期,主要从事古代钢铁技术研究,获得了不少重要的成果.从70年代中期起,他转向商周青铜器的研究,对海内外珍藏的数千件商周青铜器进行分析、检测、鉴别,还模拟古代技术条件进行复制,研究方法有重大创新,研究成果被普遍认同,在学术界产生很大影响,被公认为这一领域的资深学者.然而已70余高龄的华先生铜心"不泯,仍致力于中华传统工艺的研究和保护,让中华文明发扬光大.

From the mid-1950s to mid-1970s, Mr. Hua Jueming mainly engaged in ancient China Steel Technology, and gained a lot of important results. From the mid-1970s, he shifted to the Shang and Zhou bronzes. His research results have been widely recognized by the public that the senior academics in this field, and he has been regarded as a senior scholar in this field. When he was 70-years old, Mr. Hua remained committed to the study and preservation of Chinese traditional handicrafts.
