Study on the Seed Storage and Germination of Kmeria septentrionalis

研究了不同萌发基质和不同贮藏方式对单性木兰种子萌发的影响。结果表明:单性木兰种子用河沙作萌发基质可以得到较好的发芽效果;低温冷藏和湿沙贮藏为较好的种子贮藏方式,以湿沙贮藏效果最佳;单性木兰红色假种皮对种子萌发具有抑制作用,播种时应将假种皮搓洗除去。

This paper made a study on the influence of different germinative substrates and different storage measures on the seeds germination of Kmeria septentrionalis. The result showed that： the seeds germination of Kmeria septentrionalis requires better air and water permeability, and the sand substrate is better than others; for seeds storage, cold storage and wet sand storage is better than others, and wet sand storage is the best storage measure. The red aril of Kmeria septentrionalis has inhibition on seed germination, and it should be rubbed off when sowing.
