摘要
分析了大学英语教学过程中存在的四个问题,指出重终结性评估、轻形成性评估是影响英语课程教学质量的主要原因。因此,建议用两种评估结合的形式来评定学期总评成绩,以加强对教学质量形成过程的监控,从而提高教学质量。
Based on the analysis of the four problems found in their College English teaching process, the authors point out that the present evaluation system regards the summativc assessment superior to the formative one, which is the main cause for the problems. They suggest formative and summative assessments be combined in the final evaluation of students' performance scores, and tighten constant supervision of the quality-building process, so as to build the teaching quality in the learning process of students.
