摘要
本文首次报道太行山南段长城系赵家组中发现的大量后生动物遗迹化石,其主要为潜穴和爬行迹,顺层或近于垂直层面分布,类型丰富,保存良好,距今大约2000Ma,对研究后生动物的起源与进化有着重要的意义。
Abundant metazoan trace fossils were discovered for the first time from the Changchengian Zhaojiazhuang Formation in the southern part of the Taihang Mountains. These trace fossils include the burrows and crawling traces are preserved in the consequent bedding plane or in the bedding plane nearly perpendicular to rock beds. They are dated at 2000 Ma B. P., and rich in type, well preserved and well defined. The discovery of these Mesoproterozoic trace fossils is imPortant to the examination of the derivation and evolution of the metazoans.
