Zhenjiang regional culture is an important part of Changjiang valley culture. It has many characteristics, such as a long history, the north and south integration, the west and east compatibility, religional diversities, both civil and military coexistence, the culture worshipping hermists＇ life, etc. Zhenjiang is located on the meeting of the Changjiang River and the Grand Canal. Favorable natural environments, unique geographical position, great long history, prosperous economy and favorable trasportation make profound contributions to the formation and development of Zhenjiang regional culture.
