Zhou Enlai＇s thoughts about economic modernization are rich in meanings. He thought that it is the basic task for a socialist country to highly promote the development of productivity and that the economic work should abide by the practical and realistic rules. He also raised the strategic objectives and measures to realize economic modernization in China.
