From “Reform for the Control of the Masses” to “Literature Reform”——Centering on Two Declarations on Literature Revolution

文章对“小说界革命”的理论宣言的《论小说与群治之关系》和五四文学革命首篇发难之作的《文学改良刍议》进行个案分析和比较,以期对这段时间文学的发展流变有一个比较清晰的把握,并由此考察文学发展过程中的断裂与联系。

Through analyzing and comparing the theoretical declaration of Fictions Revolution, i. e. -- ＂A Comment on Relationships between Fictions and the Control of the Masses＂ and the first manifesto during the May Fourth Literature Revolution -- ＂Discussing about Literature Reform＂, this paper aims to examine literature develop and change during this period, and the fracture and relation in the literature development process.
