汉英信息焦点的常用标记浅探

Common Marks for Information Focuses in Chinese and English

信息焦点分为常规焦点和对比焦点。常规焦点一般在句尾,而对比焦点似乎是不确定的,可以落在句中任何一个成分上。文章以汉英两种语言为例,论证对比焦点有一定的形式标记,可以从形式上确定对比焦点。这种标记可以是词汇形式,也可以是句法形式。

Information focuses are divided into regular focuses and contrastive focuses. Regular focuses are usually at the end of the sentence, wlfile the contrastive focuses seem to be indefinite, for they can fall on any syntactical element of the sentence. This paper demonstrate from both Chinese and English that contrastive focuses have their marked forms and thus can be located through the forms. Such forms can be both lexical and syntactical.
