Taking Weihai Port Phase Ⅲ ＆ Phase Ⅳ Projects as an example, in which semi-submerged barge is not linked to the bank, this paper introduces the way of arrangement of semi-submerged barge, degree of deck＇s sinking, and calculation of regulating water when the caisson is moved into the barge, construction technology of caissons moving into the barge without linking to the bank, as well as matters of attention during caisson＇s moving out of the barge, with the emphasis laid on the optimization of caisson＇s moving into the barge under the condition of not linking to the bank.
