Data warehousing technique is a novel and important technique for reusing large-scale, distributed and heterogeneous data sources. Due to the complexity of the system itself and applica-tions to be supported, there exist many open problems to be solved. From the aspect of the sys-tem, a data warehouse is also needed a management system, just as a database does. This paper will discuss new problems and related techniques, including system architecture, data translation and transformation, update monitoring, data integration and optimization processing.
