Development and application of a new type of fibre mist eliminator

The working principle, structural design, performance and industrial application of a new type of fibre mist eliminator are introduced. The new type of fibre mist eliminator uses special mixed fiber, ＂ladder-like＂ filtration bed and mesh cage, and has the features of high performance, low bed pressure drop and high demisting efficiency. Practice showed that the use of new type of fibre mist eliminator can increase the operating availability of sulphuric acid plants and improve major indexes.
