高油玉米是人工创造的一种新型玉米,到目前为止在育种方面取得了突出的成就,已经获得了一大批含油量很高的基础群体,并且培育出了一批高油品种,新育成的杂交种不仅含油量居世界前列,而且在抗病、杭倒及丰产潜力方面均有突破,它把优质、高产、多用途和高效益有机结合起来,因而发展前途十分光明。

High-oil maize （Zea. mays L. ） is a new type maize made by human being. So far, it had made great achievements in breeding. Varieties of high oil content and basic materials have been attained. The newly cultivated hybrids, whose oil content reached the highest level of the world commercialized hybrids, but also broke though in the field of disease resistance,lodge resistance and yield potential. It combined superior quality with high yield, wide uses and high benefits together harmoniously, therefore, the future must be bright.
